Veilbreaker: Śiracchinnā Grantha[Book of Ego-Severance]

"It was beneath the third ghat of ink and bone—where the river runs black with memory—that I first laid trembling eyes upon the blood-soaked folios of the Śiracchinnā Grantha. Bound in sinew, stitched with curses, the manuscript bore rites too dreadful to be mere invention. The cult of Chhinnamastā—She-Who-Drinks-Herself—etched their dogma not only into bark or skin, but into their own trembling flesh. I watched them, these veiled supplicants, as they marked their fingers with sacred geometry, each glyph a silencing of action, a binding of ego. When the blade kissed bone and the digits fell, they wept not in agony, but awe. The eye, too, was plucked in offering—so that the veil of Māyā may be burned away, and the inward flame, the śūnya-dṛṣṭi, may awaken. They claimed that only by emptying the vessel of form could they glimpse Her headless grace, that fountain of lifeblood arcing into eternity. I did not believe them. I believed nothing—until the manuscript began to bleed through its own words. The text changed when no hand touched it. And one night, I awoke to find a mouth opening between the pages, whispering my forgotten name."
